Temporary Full-Time Meter Reader - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville is seeking application for a Temporary Full-Time Meter Reader. Position duties include accurately reading customer electric and water meters for billing using hand held data terminals, download data at end of each day, identify problems with meters. Position requires ability to work unsupervised, set work schedule and pace to meet reading and billing cycle requirements. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This position requires walking long distances for prolonged periods and over uneven terrain; bending, stooping, kneeling; work outside in all weather and exposure to animals. Must have valid drivers license with driving record that meets City's insurance requirements.  Pay is $15.88/hr.  Applications are accepted until position is filled.  EOE
