Job Title: Ball Fields Maintenance Worker
Reports to: Ball Fields Supervisor
Salary Grade: 1
FLSA: 26-week Non-Exempt

 
The Seasonal attendant performs work of a manual nature, which does not require a high degree of manipulative skill or an acquired skill or previous experience in order to do an effective job. Work season is from April-September. Work is generally performed under the immediate direction of a supervisor, but many types of work assigned may be very routine and repetitive in nature and after once learned can be carried on without difficulty and only under general supervision.

Essential Functions:

They will be responsible for preparing ball fields for daily play and tournament play on weekends. Examples of duties include dragging fields, mowing, lining, setting bases, picking up trash, and fence repair.

Work Environment:

• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
• Lift arms above shoulder level.
• Travel across rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces.
• Move heavy objects (50 pounds or more) short distances (20 feet or less).
• Move light objects (less than 20 pounds) long distances (more than 20 feet).
• Bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time.

Schedule

Working weekdays, weekends and evening hours.

working 38 hours per week 

Work months of April– September.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
There is no experience or training requirement for this entry-level position.  Must be 16 years or older.
