Director, Aging - Harvey County

Harvey County is seeking a Director for its Department on Aging and Transportation.  This person reports to the County Administrator and the Board of County Commissioners.  Duties include supervision of staff, budget preparation and oversight, grant writing and management, and public speaking presentations.  This person will coordinate activities with area senior service providers, the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), the Central Plains Area Agency on Aging, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Required Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor's degree from four year college or University; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and/or Experience: Master's degree or equivalent; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
