Office Assistant-PW – Pottawatomie County Public Works, Westmoreland, KS

Starting Rate: $13.45 - $16.81/hr, full-time; plus excellent benefits (paid time off, health insurance, KPERS, and more)

Position Responsibilities: Performs general receptionist, clerical, data entry and payroll tasks. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong organizational and computer skills. Reliable and dependable attendance necessary.

Education/Experience Required: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required with technical or college credits in computers and office management preferred.  Education may be supplemented by two years of job related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill and ability.

Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License; must have and maintain a clean driving record.
