Accountant II 

The City of Liberal is looking for the right person to join the Accounting team.  The team is led by the Finance Director who has twenty years with the City.  Our Director of accounting is a newly developed position mandated by the growth and complexity of Accounting duties in a municipality setting.   We have a fulltime accounts payable position, accounts receivable position, and a full-time accounting staff position.  

The Accountant II position will potentially be involved in every aspect of the department,  Focusing on bigger picture duties and tasks.  Physical Inventory, monthly budget reports, year-end closing, and annual budgets.
