The City of Park City is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing Public Works team. Positions are available in Street & Park and Water/Wastewater.

Pay
Public Works Technician I: $20.40 – $25.47/hour
Public Works Technician II: $22.62 – $28.25/hour
Pay placement is based on qualifications and experience.
What You'll Do
Street & Park
• Maintain and repair City streets, parks, and related infrastructure
• Perform pothole repairs, street patching, sealing, and traffic control
• Operate mowers, loaders, trucks, sprayers, and other equipment
• Perform park mowing and general maintenance
• Assist with tree removal, snow removal, road projects, and emergencies
• Maintain and perform basic repairs on City vehicles and equipment
Water/Wastewater
• Maintain and repair the City's water distribution and wastewater collection systems
• Assist with water mains, service lines, valves, hydrants, meters, and sewer lines
• Operate pumps, valves, meters, vehicles, and other equipment
• Perform inspections, system checks, maintenance, and repairs
• Assist with water/wastewater emergencies and after-hours response
• Complete required records and documentation
What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Kansas Driver's License
• One year of related experience preferred
• Certification in Water/Wastewater is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment physical
