Compensation
Certified Police Officers
Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications:
$29.29 – $31.55/hour (2–5 years of experience)
$31.55 – $33.14/hour (5–7 years of experience)
$33.14 – $35.69/hour (7–10+ years of experience)
Non-Certified Police Officers
Starting Pay: $26.63/hour
Additional starting pay incentives include:
+2% for prior military experience
+1% for an Associate's degree
+1% for a Bachelor's degree
