The City of Park City Recreation Department is hiring Seasonal/Part-Time Admissions & Concessions Attendants for our brand-new Aquatic Center opening this Memorial Day!

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people in a fun summer environment. Attendants will greet guests, collect admission fees, operate the register, and prepare and sell concession items while helping keep the facility clean and welcoming for our patrons.

Admissions/Concessions Attendant (Seasonal/Part-Time)

      City of Park City                                                                                           Recreation Department

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Pool Manager, the Admissions / Concessions Attendant is responsible for providing customer service to patrons at the municipal swimming pool. This position manages admissions, collects fees, sells concessions, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.

Essential Functions:
• Greet patrons in a friendly and professional manner and provide general information about the pool facility.
• Collect admission fees, issue wristbands or hand stamps, and assist with pool passes as required.
• Operate the cash register or point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash, credit card, and other transactions.
• Prepare and sell concession items such as snacks and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand, lobby, and entrance area.
• Restock concession items and supplies as needed.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures including basic cleaning and cash handling.
•  Report concerns, incidents, or maintenance needs to the Pool Manager or supervisory staff.
• Assist with general pool operations and special events as assigned.
• Dependability and punctuality in maintaining assigned work schedules.
• Attend required staff meetings, training, and orientation sessions.

Qualifications:
Good interpersonal skills to effectively work and communicate with co-workers, guests, and the general public. Must be at least 14 years old. Ability to accurately handle money and follow instructions. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Experience:
Previous cashier, customer service, or food service experience desirable.

Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to work outdoors for extended periods in heat, sun, and varying weather conditions. Should be able to see, hear, sit, stand, bend, lift, and walk about the facility. Must be able to lift and carry items up to approximately 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Work Environment:
Work is primarily performed at an outdoor aquatic facility with exposure to sun, heat, humidity, and pool chemicals. Duties may include standing for extended periods, handling food items, operating a cash register, and interacting with large numbers of patrons.
