Starting Pay:  $15.45 - $19.35/hour   Multiple positions available

Responsibilities: This work involves manual labor and the operation of equipment in the daily maintenance and construction of roads and bridges at a safe level for the driving public on a daily basis. Employee will be deployed to assist with various different crews, dependent on daily operations. This employee assists in snow and ice removal management during inclement weather.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent is required, with graduation from a vocational school desired. One to three years of similar or related experience preferred. Combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, ability, and skill considered.

Special Requirements: Must have (or be able to obtain within 60 days of employment), and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); must have and maintain a clean driving record.

A “clean” record is defined as: No misdemeanor or felony convictions for traffic/vehicular offenses (such as but not limited to DUI, vehicular homicide, reckless driving, hit and run, etc.) that are less than five (5) years old; no more than two (2) at fault or chargeable accidents that are less than five (5) years old; no more than two (2) traffic infractions (such as but not limited to speeding, failure to yield right of way, etc.) that are less than one year old.
